Excerpt

Shall I swim over and tell the other
frogs and crickets to be QUIET?
OR cover my ears and try to
ignore all the loud noises?
OR go to my happy place — the
lily pad at Skunk Hollow — and
dream happy thoughts about all
my friends in the Bubbly Bog?

My Review

My Rating: 5 Stars
Consider liking my review on Goodreads.

I was granted complimentary PDF access to Goodnight Swogg the Silly Frog as part of my participation in a blog tour for this title with Goddess Fish Promotions. Thank you to all involved in affording me this opportunity! My thoughts are my own and my review is honest.

Goodnight Swogg the Silly Frog is a cute bedtime story about Swogg the Silly Frog and his 10 equally silly-named bog friends. Everyone has fun together all day and Swogg loves his home in the bog, but when bedtime comes along the bog is just so noisy! The rest (most) of the story is all the ways Swog copes with a noisy sleep environment and eventually falls asleep.

This adorable book has vibrant illustrations and very fun character names that are sure to charm and entice young kids. The story itself should prove to be a very helpful tool for parents dealing with light sleepers and anxious kids who need absolute silence at bedtime in an environment that will never be silent. In fact, where was this story when I was a little kid? If you know a kiddo who’s having trouble falling asleep at night because of noise, give this book a try!

About the Author

Mark Cooley, or Grump C, had a vivid dream that compelled him to write his first story, Goodnight Swogg the Silly Frog, for his three grandchildren, Hadley, Tommy and Ella.

Caring and sharing are truly wonderful traits Grandpa Carl, Grump C and Silly Swogg all consider of utmost importance. The profits from this effort will go to CORAL – Coral Reef Alliance and WWF World Wildlife Foundation.

We sincerely hope that Swogg the Silly Frog and his ten friends can inspire and amuse children across the world.
