With a great big smile, Gabbie spread her arms wide, put her face to the wind, and flew high into the sky. Or at least… Gabbie flew high for a few seconds as she jumped off a tall rock before landing gently on the grass. Gabbie wanted to fly more than anything. She wanted to soar in and out of the big white puffy clouds as they sailed across the sky. She wanted to fly low along the winding rivers and up over the steep mountaintops.
About the Author
The author is an ornery old woman who lives with her crotchety old husband in the woods of New Hampshire. Her greatest joy is watching her grandson, Pip, on his great adventures.
