The Creator is unique, unfathomable, formless, and without any attributes. After searching everywhere, I first found it in myself, and then I found it, all prevalent and timeless, in every Creation of the Creator.

DIL Deeply in Love is author Neena Paul’s attempt to reach out to all people in the entire world, irrespective of age, to help them connect with their own self.

Excerpt

Now it is important to understand that becoming a Seeker also means going on the path of enlightenment. Though this sounds intense, it does not happen overnight. You have to fight your own inner self — the dirty devil that also exists inside of you.

The devil may not necessarily provide intense opposition all the time; it could be the debate of any scientific explanation or any conflict or difference of opinion within your own mind. One very typical feature of a Seeker is that he is very argumentative. These arguments may not necessarily be so much with the outside world but more within his own self, and by getting these answers, he becomes a SEEKER.

Suddenly he becomes very inquisitive about all of his surroundings; he wants to know the answers to all the things that are happening. He starts to google everything; he wants to get knowledge about every little thing. Overnight, he wants to become a very aware and knowledgeable person.

This is the main reason why I mentioned earlier that you need to talk to yourself. The more you talk, the more you become aware that something is happening inside of you. The more you talk to your own self, the more you relate to yourself and find the answers. It is not so much a journey on the outside; it is more a journey on the inside.

The devil is actually like your pet dog. Now, if you don’t give him food or take him out for a walk, he will retaliate since he does need his own social time. In the same way, the devil inside also needs to be active and has its own needs — making you do wrong things, speak wrong words, hurt people, and react to situations. Take a moment now and recall how many times you have had the devil overpower you and say some things to the one you love. Later, you regret having said those things.

My point exactly — take a moment to handle each experience. Each experience brings with it some reason. Each experience that you are having is now teaching you some methods to control the devil within you.
