I am guessing that NASA have quite a lot on their plates at this precise moment in time. However, after a heads up from the ISS they have admitted they took their eye off the ball and missed the lift-off of something very special at the end of last year.
A NASA spokesman said, “we have been made aware that something funny had been launched at the end of 2020, but we weren’t quite prepared to discover Just how funny it was, until we managed to locate Pluto’s in Uranus, and read the onboard data!”
“It seems that the purpose of the mission is to spread amusement throughout the globe, and it is being piloted by some guy called Dave, whose got a rare syndrome called OCF Obsessive Compulsive Fatalism, we fear this is going to create problems and force him to go way out of his depth.”
Not only is NASA’S interpretation astute it is also very accurate.
Pluto’s in Uranus is now only a few months into its journey, but it has been tracked down and had its data analysed by lesser mortals the NASA Scientists.
Here’s an insight into what some have said.

It’s a mixed bag and to discover what the buzz is all about it’s probably worth knowing some of the background to this mission.
Apparently, it all began due to unforeseen circumstances and a misfiring astrologer called Madam Patiala.
Dave had followed her advice and in doing so has manged to lose a stash of his workmate’s money on a horseracing gamble that went badly wrong. Due to this he is now in danger of losing his job and worse if he doesn’t find a way to retrieve the un won winnings within the next 14 days.
The ill-fated horoscopic forecast that started all the trouble was influenced by a historic planetary alignment of Pluto and Uranus, and the lucky omens predicted have most definitely come back to taunt him.
In undertaking his recouping quest Dave is forced to cross paths with a hotchpotch of larger-than-life characters and get himself embroiled into ridiculously hilarious situations that you couldn’t make up (although I did!).
I have been asked many questions about Pluto’s in Uranus but the oddest one to date has been whether it is a suitable read for a baby bedtime story?
To answer this truthfully, I surveyed a couple of babies, but unfortunately, as gobbledygook is not yet a google translate option, I have to say that the jury is still out.
However, I’m going to stick my neck out and say that Pluto’s in Uranus is a bit above their play scale. and is better suited to those who enjoy a more grown-up read.

About the Author
Patrick Haylock is a globally unrecognised writer who if you discount a school sweet pea growing competition, has won no awards whatsoever!
He was born in Enfield at a very dark time in the world. It was 1:45 am, to be precise, and it wasn’t too long before it dawned on him.
To make something of himself he was going to need two things the ability to tell the difference between a green onion and a scallion, and a good education.
Wormley Primary and Baas Hill Comprehensive schools did their best to fulfil both requirements, and after giving them 12 years of his life, they gave him seven printed sheets of paper, and the knowledge that there was no difference between a green onion and a scallion.
He also learned that the difference between onions and bagpipes was that no one ever cries when you chop up bagpipes.
The certificated wisdom secured a national newspaper messenger’s job, which led to an editorial trainee position, followed by a production editor’s post, and progression into freelance journalism.
‘Knowing his onions’ helped him to successfully establish his own publishing company, design studio, online retro webstore and high street art gallery.
Patrick lives with his wife in a converted Old Essex Brewery, where he claims the 6% ABV air quality inspires him to craft his nutty tales.
Although a ‘new voice’, in the literary world, those ‘in the know’ will willingly testify that his gift for imaginative storytelling is engaging, and, amusingly unique!
