This or That Book Tag

Posted on November 30, 2020 By Jenna No Comments on This or That Book Tag

Thank you to The Inharmonious Heroine for tagging me! This tag was created by Tea and Paperbacks. I’ll also be doing this one as a booktube video on Jenna Gets Creative the same day this post goes live (if you don’t see it, you’ve arrived too early in the day and I’m still editing, check back soon!)

Rules:

  • Mention the creator of the tag: Ayunda from Tea and Paperbacks
  • Thank the blogger who tagged you
  • Tag 10 other people to do the tag and spread the love

1. Reading on the couch or on the bed?
Couch. I can do both, but you’re much more likely to find me reading on the couch.

2. Sweet or salty snacks while reading?
Salty. Bring me the chips!

3. Trilogies or Quartets?
I honestly have no preference.

4. First person or third person POV?
Third because it’s easier to do well, but that doesn’t mean I won’t read anything written in first person.

5. Night or Morning reader?
Night! I’m a night owl. If I could have my way nothing in the world would happen before 10am.

6. Libraries or bookstores?
Libraries because I do not have the cash for all the lovely books in the book store, no matter how much I want them! (Don’t be fooled by the full book shelf behind me in my videos, many of those were given to me as a teenager and I’m now in my 30s.)

7. Books that make you laugh or make you cry?
I would much rather read a book that makes me laugh, generally speaking, but I think we can all agree some of the best books out there are the ones that make us cry.

8. Black or White book covers?
What happened to colourful covers? The vast majority of my non-colourful books are primarily black, though, so I guess my preference is black.

9. Character driven or plot driven?
Plot driven. I would very much prefer to love the characters and have cool down breaks just hanging out with them, but if a book doesn’t have a good plot I’m not going to have a good time.

Thanks again to The Inharmonious Heroine for tagging me! The rules say tag 10, so 10 it shall be. Just like the previous tag I did I’m going to open my blogs folder in my email inbox and pick the first 10 distinct WordPress bloggers with recent posts (WordPress because I can do pingbacks to notify them, sorry Blogger users) but I’ll skip over the people I tagged last week so I can get to more people and not overwhelm the same ones. If you’re seeing this and you’re not tagged but you’d like to do it, by all means do it anyway!

In no particular order…

Tag, you’re it!

  1. Rin’s Reads
  2. A Book Wanderer
  3. Reading On A Star
  4. Rae’s Reads and Reviews
  5. One Book More
  6. The Perks of Being Noura
  7. The Shaggy Shepherd
  8. Bookish Luna
  9. Leah’s Books
  10. What Em’s Reading

Have fun, everyone!
